
Govt of India (GoI) in partnership with the States is implementing the National Health Mission which comprises of various programs, with the objective of improving medical facilities in the rural areas and seeks to provide accessible, affordable and quality health care to the rural population, especially the vulnerable sections. HEALTH POLICY KERALA - 2013 |
The Government of Kerala intends to distribute generic drugs free of cost to all patients at government hospitals. A committee was set up to identify the drugs that must be stocked at different levels. The list is attached.
District Mental Health Programme Tvpm established in 1999 by Govt. of India, was selected as the most successful and model mental health programme in India by World Health Organization (WHO).It also recieves State Govt annual plan fund through NRHM.
